dr. Zsolt Barna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

He started his carrier at the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority (PSZÁF), head of subdepartment after 1998, and later head of department at PSZÁF after 2004. Member of the board of BEVA between 1998 and 1999. Managing director of the Supervisory Board of PSZÁF from 2006. Member, permanent guest of the European CESR, CEBS managing boards and technical committees between 2006 and 2010. One of the leading managers of the crisis management of the banking sector between 2008 and 2009. He has been working at OTP Group since 2010, initially in the position of director, then became the chairman of the CKB Bank’s Board of Directors in Montenegro, and managed its reorganisation. Following his several managerial positions within OTP Group, he was the President-CEO of OTP Ingatlan Befektetési Alapkezelő Zrt. between 8. June 2016 and 31. August 2018., and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Alapkezelő Zrt. from September 2016 until 31. August 2018. From 8. June 2016, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Ingatlan Befektetési Alapkezelő Zrt. In 2017 and 2018, he managed OTP Bank’s first significant subsidiary integration in Croatia. From 10. September 2018, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of OTP Ingatlan Zrt. He was appointed as the general deputy CEO of OTP Bank on 1. September 2018. From 2019 till 20. July 2020., he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTP Ingatlan Zrt., and a member of the supervisory board of the Croatian subsidiary of the OTP Group. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Slovenian subsidiary of the OTP Group from December 2019. He filled the position of general deputy CEO at OTP Bank Nyrt. until 20. July 2020. Since 1 January 2021 he has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MKB Bank.

 

Ildikó Ginzer, Deputy CEO for Standard Business Services

She obtained a Masters degree in Economics and in Corporate Finance and Teaching. Between 2004 and 2016, she first worked in structured and project finance at Raiffeisen Bank, and later held senior positions in the bank's corporate intensive management and recovery areas. She was Head of the Corporate Restructuring and Debt Management of Raiffeisen Bank between 2012 and 2016. She was responsible for Strategy and Group Development at Borealis AG in 2016. She joined MKB Bank at the end of 2016 as Deputy CEO for Risk Management, from 2019 she was Deputy CEO for Business, from May 2020 she was Business and General Deputy CEO, from 16 November 2021 she has been Deputy CEO for Standard Business Services.

 

Kitti Dobi,Deputy CEO for Human Resources

She holds a degree in corporate finance from the Budapest University of Economics. She started her career in 2003 as a regional manager responsible for various HR processes at Procter & Gamble. Her experience in international HR management has been deepened through training in human resources and management in Geneva and Cincinnati. From 2008 to 2010, she managed the establishment of Vodafone's International Operations Centre, and then continued as Head of HR Processes. She is an OPP international MBTI coach qualified in Oxford. She continued her work as a lecturer and HR management module leader at the International Business School. Between 2010 and 2014, BP Zrt. (a subsidiary of British Petrol), she, as HR Director, led the establishment of the company's international HR service units in Europe and Asia. During this period she attended the HR Management course at Cornell University in London. From 2014 to 2016, she was Head of HR Service Management, Account Management and Customer Management in Eastern Europe at Alexander Mann Solutions. Since 2016 she has been Executive Director of Human Resources at MKB Bank Nyrt. and MKB Financial Group, from 9 December 2021 she is Deputy Chief Executive officer for Human Resources. She has been the employee representative member of the Supervisory Board of MKB Bank since July 2021.

 

Ádám Egerszegi, Deputy CEO for Transformation

In 1997 he graduated from the Budapest School of Finance and Accounting with a degree in economics, and in 1998 he passed the stock exchange examination at the Budapest Stock Exchange and Central European Broker Training Foundation. In 1998, he started his career in the German Customer Department of Takarékbank, where he held the positions of Customer Relationship Manager and then Deputy Head of Department. From 2003 he was Head of the Network Department, from 2005 to 2014 he was Director of the Savings Bank Division, and from February 2014 to March 2015 he was Deputy CEO of Polgári Bank Zrt. Subsequently, he was Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors of Duna Takarék Bank Zrt. Since February 2017, he has been Deputy CEO of Takarékbank, Vice President and Deputy CEO of MTB Magyar Takarékszövetkezeti Bank, and since 2017 he has been leading the consolidation process of savings cooperatives and the establishment of Takarékbank as a universal commercial bank. He has been Deputy CEO for Transformation from 10 December 2021.

 

Antal Martzy, Deputy CEO for Finances

He started his banking career in 1997 at MKB Bank Zrt. in the field of international financial reporting and supervisory reporting. Since 2005, he has been in charge of all financial and supervisory reporting. Between 2008 and 2011 he played a significant role in stabilising the capital position of MKB Group as Head of Capital Management. Sinc3 2014, he has established the Business Intelligence (BI) Directorate, laying the foundations for the efficient use of information within the Group. In 2014, he continued his career as Managing Director of Takarékbank and later as Deputy CEO, where he built up and managed the central financial and controlling processes of the Cooperative Credit Institutions sector. As part of this, he has been involved in the consolidation of the FHB Bank Group as Deputy Chief Financial Officer since 2017, resulting in sustained profitable operations. Since 2017, as Deputy Chief Strategy and Finance Officer of the Takarék Group, he managed the financial and accounting processes of the migration of the cooperative sector. He has been Chief Financial Officer from 8 December 2021.

 

Levente László Szabó, Deputy CEO for Individual Business Services

He graduated from the College of Finance and Accounting in 1993 with a degree in Financial Management and in 1995 from the Janus Pannonius University with a Master's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in German translation. He started his career in 1995 as a senior corporate customer manager at Creditanstalt Group. In 1999, he joined Magyar Takarékszövetkezeti Bank Zrt., where he was initially Head of the German Customers Division, and from 2001 he became Director of the Corporate and Institutional Customers Division. In 2003, he continued his career as Director of the Savings Bank Branch and was elected to the Supervisory Board of the bank. He served as Managing Director and member pf the Board of Directors for five years from 2005, and was appointed Deputy CEO in April 2010. In addition to the Corporate and Institutional Business Unit, he was in charge of Project Management and the IT and Operations Department. Between 2013 and 2017, as CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Takarékbank, he was responsible for corporate group governance and led the transformation of the entire savings and loan system. Between 2013-2019, as CEO of Takarék Kereskedelmi Bank Zrt., he supervised and managed the transformation processes of Takarék Kereskedelmi Bank. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of MTB Zrt., which manages the Takarék Group, and since 2019 he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of Takarékbank Zrt. From 10 December 2021, he has been Deputy Chief Business Officer for Individual Business Services.

 

Dr. Beatrix Mészáros, Deputy CEO for Subsidiaries

She started her studies at the Budapest School of Economics, Faculty of Foreign Trade, and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Export-Import Management. She holds a Master's degree in Communication from the Universitá Cattolica di Sacro Cuore in Italy. In January 2019, she graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Debrecen. She started her professional career in telecommunications and media. She started her management career in the agricultural sector, from 2012 she was responsible for the full management of agricultural and production companies, she was the Managing Director of Búzakalász 66 Kft. and later Chairman of the Board of Aranykorona Zrt. From 2016 to 2022, she is a member of the Board of Directors of Talentis Group Zrt. In addition to agribusiness and tourism, she holds executive officer positions in several dynamic companies in the energy sector and the construction industry. She has been Deputy CEO for Subsidiaries from 9 February 2022.
